Description
A little burst of berry-coloured sunshine for the garden! This Echinacea produces masses of rich, rosy-magenta blooms on sturdy stems, with a warm golden cone at the centre. The flowers are long-lasting, beautifully branching, and make wonderful additions to summer bouquets. A dependable perennial that comes back year after year, this echinacea is equally lovely tucked into the garden or grown for cutting. Its vibrant blooms also make it a favourite with pollinators, bringing plenty of life and colour to the summer garden.

Cold stratify seeds in refrigerator for two weeks before starting seeds. Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before your last frost date. Harden off and transplant seedlings when weather is still cool.
Seeds can also be sown directly into the garden. Sow them shallowly or on the surface of well-draining soil in late fall for natural stratification.
Harvesting
Cut stems in the early morning or late evening when the flowers are firm and the petals are flat but not yet curled. Choose younger, less open blooms for longer vase life.
