Description
Delicate, airy, and beautifully whimsical, Orlaya White Lace is a must-have for the cutting garden. Its white blooms resemble tiny lace doilies floating above slender stems, bringing a meadow-like quality to bouquets and arrangements. A wonderful early-season filler, it blooms generously, with branching stems that add movement and softness to arrangements.

Direct-seed as soon as the ground can be worked. Succession-plant every two weeks for a continual harvest. Seeds can also be started indoors 6 weeks before your last frost date. Transplant out while the weather is still cool. Seed can benefit from cold stratification. Place seeds in the freezer for 10 to 14 days before sowing to speed up germination. Plants can tolerate a light frost.
Harvesting
Harvest when the flowers are halfway to fully open. Cut during the coolest part of the day to prevent wilting. Immediately after harvest, dip stems in boiling water for 7 to 10 second then place into cool water to hydrate.
